"It looked more or less like the pictures..."
It looked more or less like the pictures to me. The colors might be a little darker in person, or maybe just the lighting, but overall it still looks nice.

"Looked great... for about five minutes"
It looked really nice at first, so I was happy with it. Then about a month in, it started falling apart. Love that for me. Definitely not what I was hoping for.

"Packaging could’ve been better"
My order did show up on time, so I can’t really complain too much, but the packaging was kind of underwhelming. The box had a small dent in it and there wasn’t a whole lot of padding inside, which made it feel a little cheap.
Nothing was actually damaged, so maybe it was packed fine in the end, but also for the price I expected it to look a bit more protected. It wasn’t awful or anything, just average

"The color reveal was exactly what I hoped for"
I was bracing myself for some kind of color disaster, but nope, the finish and shade looked just like the photos. It matched my order perfectly, with zero weird surprises.

I had to wait a few days just to hear back from customer service, which was frustrating. when they finally replied, it didn’t really feel like they helped much either. Not the Best experience...

"Looks nice at first, but kinda rough up close!!!"
It looked good when I first pulled it out, but once I got a closer look, the craftsmanship felt a bit rushed!!! The edges were uneven and rough, which was disappointing because I really wanted to like it!!!

"Works, but a bit clunky"
I was able to browse around and add things to my cart without any real issues. The pages loaded fine for me, and I did get the usual order email/receipt after checkout, so that part was reassuring.

The menu felt a little clunky on my phone, and I had to dig around a bit to find some product details. Checkout did work, but it took me a minute to feel totally sure where I was in the process. Overall, not bad, just kind of average...

Had an issue with my order and it was a bit annoying at first. I had to send a few messages before getting a proper clear response, which wasnt ideal. But to be fair, they did sort it out in the end. Not the smoothest experience ever, but at least it got resolved.

"Easy enough to use, even when I was wiped out"
I was feeling mentally drained when I checked out hewn-goods.com, so I appreciated that the site didn’t make things harder than they needed to be. Pages loaded quickly, the menu was easy to follow, and the product photos were clear. Checkout was also smooth and didn’t drag on, which was a relief. My only small complaint is that the filters on mobile could be better since I had to scroll around a bit. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d use the site again.

I ordered a personalized piece from hewn-goods.com, and it came out just how I was hoping. I was a little nervous about the spelling, spacing, and small details, but everything looked right and felt like someone actually reviewed the order instead of rushing it through. The gift was a big hit, too. I’d definitely order again, with how well this turned out, I wouldn’t mind some kind of discount or credit toward a future order

The items themselves were nice, so no complaints there, but I really wish they had been more upfront about the final cost. It kind of felt like they kept saying the price would be simple or fair, but then shipping and extra fees popped up later than I expected. Not a terrible experience, just frustrating when the promises are a little too vague and you don’t know what you’re actually paying until the end

My order showed up last week i was ready to be annoyed if anything felt cheap or off. But nope, the quality is really solid. It has a nice weight to it, the finish is clean, and I didn’t find any issues. Happy with it.

"Nice quality, but oof, the price"
I’ll give them credit, the quality is definitely there and it feels like nice stuff overall. I liked it more than I expected at first. Then I looked at the price again and suddenly my enthusiasm packed up and left. It’s good, just not sure I’d pay full price for it.
